Intense ruby red in colour, with a bouquet that is dominated by fresh ripe berries and hints of spice associated with a whiff of oak barrel.
Tight, full body with very good, ripe tannins. Finishes with an attractive long and velvety aftertaste.
The wine pairs very well with pasta, roasted red meats or risotto

Aging 30 months.

It can be aged in bottle for up to 5 years.

Merlot is an old French variety that is grown in all wine countries. In Bulgaria it is widespread throughout the country, but mainly in southern Bulgaria and produces the best wines in the Haskovo region, around Harmanli, the village of Kolarovo. Here is the oldest preserved array in Bulgaria, namely 7000 acres of Merlot, which for more than 50 years gives excellent results, it was created in the 70's by the Austrian professor Moser, who after long research has chosen the most suitable place in Bulgaria for growing the variety Merlot, and it is from these arrays we get wine created especially for us by Linar, without sulfites and other stabilizers, entirely biodynamic.
