Merlot is an old French variety that is grown in all wine countries. In Bulgaria it is widespread throughout the country, but mainly in southern Bulgaria and produces the best wines in the Haskovo region, around Harmanli, the village of Kolarovo. Here is the oldest preserved array in Bulgaria, namely 7000 acres of Merlot, which for over 50 years has been giving excellent results, it was created in the 70s by the Austrian professor Moser, who after long research has chosen the most suitable place in Bulgaria for growing the Merlot variety, and it is from these arrays that we get wine created especially for us by Linar, without sulfites and other stabilizers, entirely biodynamic.
The wine has a beautiful deep red colour. The nose is ripe with accents of prune, dark chocolate, leather and caramel. The palate is confit in character, with a hint of cherry liqueur. Very full, powerful and voluminous body with an excellent long, noble finish.
To be consumed at a temperature of 18-20°C.
