Merlot is an old French variety that finds its perfect harmony in the Haskovo region, around Harmanli and the village of Kolarovo. Here, in the vineyard of 7000 acres, which has been producing excellent results for more than 50 years, this wine is born - without sulphites, without stabilisers, produced entirely according to Linar's gentle methods.

Let yourself discover the tradition and art of winemaking with our Merlot, created from the oldest preserved array in Bulgaria. This wine is the result of a long history, inspired by Austrian Professor Moser, who in the 1970s chose the perfect place to grow this exquisite variety.

What makes this Merlot special?

Historical heritage:
This Merlot comes from the oldest surviving vineyard in Bulgaria, planted more than 50 years ago by the famous Austrian professor Lantz Moser. Located in the Harmanli area, this vineyard was specially selected for its ideal conditions for growing Merlot - a warm climate and rich alluvial soils with an excellent water regime.
Natural process
The wine is produced without the addition of sulphites and other stabilisers. This makes it entirely natural and biodynamic, preserving the true taste of the grapes and terroir from which it comes.
History and tradition
The estate, created by Professor Moser after long research, is recognized as one of the best places in Bulgaria for growing Merlot. This selection and care for the vineyards create a wine with a unique char
Aromatic profile
Elegant and rich bouquet with notes of black cherries, ripe plums and subtle nuances of cocoa and spices. Each sip reveals the harmony between the fruit flavours and the delicate minerality typical of the region.
Taste and structure
Medium to full body with velvety tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is long and compelling, leaving a sense of sophistication and class.
